Tickets

The single ticket for the National Museums of Genoa (Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Spinola) can be purchased at the ticket offices of both museums either online, without a surcharge.

It can be used within one year of issue to access the two sites even on different days.

The ticket for the National Museums of Genoa also includes entry to the exhibition SAN GIORGIO. Il viaggio di un santo cavaliere dall’Oriente a Genova (Genova, Palazzo Reale, Teatro del falcone, October 31, 2025 – March 1, 2026)

Museum ticket offices are open until 30 minutes before closing time.

Groups

Groups (maximum 25 people, including chaperones and guides) are advised to book the visit by writing to palazzorealegenova@cultura.gov.it to avoid waiting.

Informations

It is possible to download the App Guide Palazzo Reale of Genoa for free developed for both Android and iOS in seven languages (Italian, French, English, Spanish, German, Russian, and Chinese) designed to accompany the public during the visit.

No food or beverages can be consumed within the museum tour for conservation reasons heritage protection.

Only dogs and other small pets kept inside a special pet carrier are allowed inside the museum for the duration of the visit. For heritage protection and conservation reasons and for the maximum safety of the public, dogs and any other medium and large pets or domestic animals are prohibited, even if on a leash and/or muzzled.

It is possible to photograph the rooms and artworks for personal use. The use of flash is prohibited for conservation purposes. For professional photographs or to use the Museum’s images, permission must be obtained by writing to pal-ge@cultura.gov.it.

The Apartment of the Hereditary Princes is not included in the usual tour route and can only be visited during events and dedicated openings.

Access to the Roof Garden is temporarily suspended.
